Ichi (一) means “one” in Japanese. Another ichi — 市 — is a town’s old market square, and the same character marks Japan’s municipal cities. A singular focus on the industry that builds them.

That is why we built Ichi.
We license the books. We load the amendments. We capture the knowledge that cannot be scraped from the open web. And we are building an AI workforce on top of it all: one intelligent platform connecting architects, engineers, jurisdictions, consultants, and contractors.
Not to replace the people who build our world.
